Description
Punto Maglia Srl is a specialized Italian knitwear manufacturer and trading company headquartered in Imola, Bologna. Founded in 2010 by industry veterans Giuliano Zanotti and Luisa Dall'Osso, the company leverages over twenty years of textile expertise to produce high-quality, 100% Made in Italy garments. Operating as a versatile B2B partner, the firm provides comprehensive manufacturing services including OEM, ODM, and private label production for global brands, wholesalers, and retailers. Their capabilities range from rapid prototyping and sample creation to full-scale production, utilizing advanced Stoll knitting machines and a 'Km 0' production model that integrates local artisan workshops.
The company specializes in premium men's and women's knitwear crafted from fine natural fibers such as extra-fine Merino wool, cashmere, silk, cotton, and mohair. Their extensive product catalog features sweaters, cardigans, pullovers, knitted jackets, dresses, leggings, and accessories like scarves and hats. In addition to contract manufacturing, which constitutes approximately 75% of their business, Punto Maglia manages two proprietary brands: 'Leonardo' for menswear and 'Queen of Hearts' (Regina di Cuori) for womenswear.
With a commitment to artisan craftsmanship and rigorous quality control, Punto Maglia serves international markets across Western Europe and the Middle East. The company maintains a flexible production scale, handling both small-batch artisanal projects and larger commercial orders with an average annual output of 35,000 items.
